"Paranoyse" Brian Lanigan

Brian Lanigan

"Paranoyse" band member, Brian Lanigan, spoke with Key Records moments before the band's performance at the Perley Rideau. We learned the band's name "Paranoyse", was inspired by Para Transpo where Brian and several of the original band members worked. Doing gigs for approx. 12-14 years now, the band usually performs within a 100 mile radius of Ottawa. Brian has also travelled to the east coast of Canada where he performed at a Lobster festival on Prince Edward Island.

"Paranoyse"

"Paranoyse" consists of several musicians who play together when available. Band members who performed at the Perley Rideau were; Brian Lanigan, (Vocals, Guitar, Harmonica), Marino Verzeroli, (Vocals, Keyboard), Marcel Trottier, (Mandolin) and Raphael Pagani, (12 String Guitar & back up Vocals). The band likes to perform with special themes in mind and on this occasion performed several love songs celebrating pre-Valentine's Day. Although the band has composed original music they mostly play well known cover tunes so that their audiences can sing along.
